Wavelength Summer Thing

Toronto summer festival comes with a stacked lineup of Canadian musicians

Toronto,  the 'Thing' you've all been waiting for is back!

Wavelength Summer Thing is back for another year with an exciting line-up of artists who will be sure to bring all the vibes needed as we get ready to head into our final month of summer.

Taking place in Trillium Park for it's summer series, the music festival will feature beautiful views of the waterfront location enhanced by live music, art, food, drink, and community all gathered in one space for a unforgettable summer event.

"It's such a dream to be a part of the SummerSeries at Trillium Park to bring some of the country's best new musical artists and our city's most imaginative creatives together for a day of lakeside magic," says Wavelength Director Jonathan Bunce.

Since 2000, this annual summer gathering is Toronto's artist-run live music non-profit. It thrives through showcasing a diverse, inclusive, and uplifting lineup of Canadian artists ranging from rock and indie to jazz and electronic.

The artists in question who carry on this tradition of putting on a wonderful show that will get you off your feet dancing are none other then Daniel Romano's Outfit, Lavender Town, Sasha Cay, SlowPitchSound, and DJ More or Less.

Their line-up is star studded with Canadian musicians who bring something new and exciting to the stage, but I heard that SlowPitchSound is bringing guest dancer Libydo along with them and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us.

Alongside these artists the event will feature a multitude of other activities from the likes of art installations, live painting, food and drink, an indie vendor market and immersive, social activities, and Public Sweat bringing along their mobile sauna followed by a lakeside campfire where you can kick up your feet and relax after a full day of fun.

The event is free and all ages, allowing anyone and everyone to be a part of this exciting summer event.

Wavelength Summer Thing takes place at Trillium Park, East Island Ontario Place, 955 Lake Shore Blvd. W. , on August 10.
