50 Cent put on a show in Toronto but left fans wanting more

This past weekend, hip hop legend 50 Cent performed at Cabana in Toronto's Port Lands

While Cabana's ambiance was lavish and the music spun by the opening DJ was high energy, attendees endured long wait times and in the end a rather brief appearance by 50 Cent.

Doors to the event opened at 1 p.m. However, it would be hours before headlining 50 Cent would take the stage.

The concert's time frame was not publicized and remained a mystery to on site staff and attendees alike the day of.

TikTok user @donnyonions posted a video leading up to the concert with the caption, "Can you please hurry up thanks @50 Cent."

It would take until 5:30 p.m. for the concert to finally begin. While the build up did make for a very exciting show, around half an hour later it was over and attendees began filing out.

TikTok user @ksheelio left a comment on a video shared by blogTO, "Didn't he perform for 20 mins? And dip."

Some ticket holders spent nearly $100 to attend the under 30 minute concert.

I spoke to one girl at the bus stop on my way home who had come all the way from Montreal to see 50 Cent and was disappointed by how quick the concert had been.

In this short period of time 50 Cent did manage to perform many of his hits (In da Club, Candy Shop, Many Men and more), sufficiently riling up the crowd with an engaging show.

Still, many felt the amount they paid was disproportionate to the brief duration of the concert.
